Simone Biles

Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born on March 14th in 1997, Columbus Ohio U.S.A. At the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals at one Games and was also the first gymnast who won three consecutive titles in the world's all-around competition (2013-15). Biles as well as his younger sister Adria was taken in by Ronald Biles as well as Nellie Biles their grandparents in Spring Texas (in the Houston area), grew up there. Simone first became interested in the sport of gymnastics at age six. The coach Aimee Borman accompanied Biles to Bannon's Gymnastix in the area, where they were taken for a field trip. Biles took home a gold medal in vault and floor at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships of the year 2010 prior to her first appearance at the top level of competing. In less than two seasons, she was the best athlete in her field. Her consistency, her vivacious attitude and level of difficulty in the four events she competed in -- vault uneven bars balance beam floor exercise and floor exercises -- helped to set her out from the rest of the athletes.
